Casino Party -- The Details

You want to have a casino party... Your sister had one in Colorado, or your husband's boss went to one last year... but you aren't quite sure how it would work? The first thing to know is that Casino Parties are strickly for entertainment. Do not plan a party thinking you will make money. In fact, casino parties use chips with no real money. If you want to gamble for real, hop a plane to Vegas. Casino parties are just for fun...

At the party, your guests will be given a stack of chips or play money.

Your guests will play just as they would in a live casino -- only with less tables, and a whole lot more fun! Depending on what you arrange, there may be one or more kinds of games, such as poker, craps, or blackjack. Also, our dealers are happy to teach your guests how to play, so everyone can enjoy each of the games with no anxiety about doing things incorrectly.

As the party comes to a close, you can give prizes or let people "buy" things auction style with their chips

We love casino parties, because they are a great way to get guests mingling and having fun.

Enjoy!

Try Team Events for the best props and décor, custom created and delivered to you...

But if you are into the do-it-yourself route - there are several things that you can do:

Balloons: One of the easiest ways to spruce up venue for your casino party is to just blow up some old-fashioned balloons. Helium tanks can be rented and balloons purchased very economically. For your casino party think abouy blues and silvers, or black and white to add a classic touch! Gather the balloons together in bunches or let them float to the ceiling. Add the curled string and send bunches home with the guests. Just Be careful of sharp ar hot light fixtures and sprinklers!

Cards and Dice: Pictures of cards or dice make great decorations. You can get cardboard cutouts at any party supply store, or you can make your own with construction paper or by printing out graphics on your computer.

Posters: Posters are a super way to decorate. Use movie posters from casino movies (Ocean’s 11, Casino Royale, Showgirls, Vegas Vacation, The Color of Money).
